Master of Sustainable Energy Development (SEDV) Scholarship
The University of Calgary's Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Development (SEDV) is an interdisciplinary graduate program providing a balanced education related to energy and environmental management. A combined offering through the School of Public Policy, Haskayne School of Business, Schulich School of Engineering, School of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape, and the Faculty of Law, SEDV is an unprecedented program designed for professionals and students who are seeking a broad-based and comprehensive education in sustainable energy.
"After graduating with a Bachelor in Management and working in the financial services industry, I was eager to transition into the energy industry and explore sustainability. The MSc in Sustainable Energy Development provided exactly what I was hoping for – a holistic education on sustainable development in the context of today's society."
"The program offered a balance of technical and non-technical courses, and taught us to evaluate the economic, environmental, and social impacts of resource development. Through experiential learning opportunities, as well as the Capstone project, the program enabled me to transition to a unique role in the energy industry that combines my finance background with the skills and knowledge I gained through the SEDV program."
- Stephanie Duncan MSc (SEDV)'18
